Name meanings for me - What do you think?

I have a name that I use for certain situations...and I was wondering what meanings you could find for either or both names. First name is Phoenixx and I don't want "mythological bird" for a definition. Second name is Sapphira, and I don't want either "dragon from movie Eragon" or "blue gemstone" as a definition. Even though the names are based on the words for the bird and gemstone I want to see what deeper meanings you can come up with. I was drawn to the name by a force larger than myself but unfortunately I have yet to be drawn to any useful meanings online or in books. And please don't give me anything stupid. Thanks in advance anyone and everyone who will attempt this for me!

Name meanings for me - What do you think?
Have you thrown it into a numerology database and see what you get? You might find that it gives you some insight.

Reply:A "force larger than you",` drew you` to names with shallow meanings ? Why not sack the "force", and start again with some original names ?
Reply:Try Agape - sound interesting

Cheers
Reply:Pheonixx: healer, protector

Sapphira: safe place, refuge
Reply:Well, Sapphira was the wife of Ananias in the bible, and was killed because she lied.( Not very positive). Phoenixx, on the other hand, is a woman who has peerless beauty or excellence.
Reply:Phoenicia was linked with the mythical Phoenix, and had a great civilisation thousands of years ago. Sapphira sounds Persian and goes well with Phoenixx. I believe there is a modern Arabic name that's similar - Zafira, something like that.

Reply:The Phoenix symbolizes resurrection, immortality, new opportunities, success and prosperity.

The Phoenix is the mate of the Celestial Dragon. Together they symbolize conjugal happiness.

Sapphira is the beautiful wife of Ananias. He dropped dead suddenly after attempting to deceive the Holy Spirit by withholding part of the profit from the sale of a piece of land. A few hours later his wife, Sapphira also lied and also suffered the same fate. They both lied to The Apostle Peter about the amount they had received and individually dropped dead upon hearing Peter's rebuke.

Bright Blessings with finding the meanings that ring true for you!
