My name is Natsume, and for the last few years, I've been trying to find out what it means. I know its Japanese, and the reason my father picked it, is because he was 16 when I was born, and liked computer games! (As in, the computer game company)

I can't find Natsume, but there is an alternate spelling, Natsumi.
From Japanese 夏 (natsu) "summer" and 美 (mi) "beautiful". It can also come from 菜 (na) "vegetables, greens" and 摘 (tsumu) "pick, pluck". It is a female name.

EDIT:
oh i found the kanji for this guy called natsume soseki or something. and the kanji for natsume is 夏目. which means summer eyes.
