What are some good Japanese last names that go with the first name Mai (please include meanings if you can)?

I've always liked the surname SATO, as in Toshiko Sato from "Torchwood" (British TV show).

But I've found a list of common Japanese surnames here -

What are some good Japanese last names that go with the first name Mai (please include meanings if you can)?
I found this for you on www.ancestry.com

Mai

Swedish: pet form of Maria and Margit (see Margaret). It is now used as an independent given name and is common as both the first and the second element of compound names such as Mai-Britt, Mai-Lis, Anne-Mai, and Britt-Mai.

Hope this helps.
Reply:Mai sounds Chinese not Japanese like Mai Pai in Kill Bill.
